Some differences of the two
Infecting a Computer- virus inserts itself into a file or executable program. Worm exploits a weakness in an application or operating system by replicating itself.

Infecting Files- virus deletes or modifies files. Sometimes a virus also changes the location of files. Worms usually only monopolize the CPU and memory.

Speed- virus is slower than worm.
E.g.The code red worm affected 3 lack PCs in just 14 Hrs.

Definition- The virus is the program code that attaches itself to application program and when application program run it runs along with it. The worm is code that replicate itself in order to consume resources to bring it down.

It is better to have multiple antivirus apps in terms of antivirus capabilities, but you must not use them at the same time as they do not play well with each other. You can have multiple antivirus but decide only one antivirus that has the widest "scope" of virus search, then let the others run when needed

Viruses and other destructive softwares are best to steal important and condfidential informations from others. With these they can use the gathered information for whatever they want to use it( stalking, stealing, estafa).

But viruses are also used by the government. At the cold war and maybe until now, millions of confidential files have been stolen from different countries by their enemy country. Top secret military operations and tactics were found by hackers and they had sold those to the government of the enemy of the country that originally has the information. Some government also hire hackers to attack or track other hackers and criminals.

Real answer:
You should either isolate the file or delete it or simply fix it with an anti virus app. After that re scan your computer to make sure that it is free from viruses.
You can also ask for help to the internet or other people who know how to do it. Or maybe ask in this forum

It's possible to use an antivirus without on-access scanning, but this generally isn't a good idea – viruses that exploit security holes in programs wouldn't be caught by the scanner. After a virus has infected your system, it's much harder to remove.

you can actually run 2 at a time but they won't work as expected. Here the things that might happen:
1) they will try to kill each other
2) they will fight over viruses

turn on Windows defender or install third party anti-virus so that it will notify you when there's a malicious program/file that may break your OS.

you should know what is a "virus", how do you get it and also get rid of it.

In order to prevent infection, simply turn on Windows defender or install third party anti-virus but the best thing to do is be careful when downloading contents from the internet and visiting websites.

Every antivirus has many features which can be broadly categorized in to two parts - On demand features and on access (real time) features.
On demand features needs user actions to start/stop it's working. Whereas real time features such as real time file scanning, or automatic memory scanning are always running in the system.
If you use two antivirus software with all real time features enabled, the similar features from both antivirus software will conflict with each other and may not work properly resulting in to a very bad user experience. Also these real time features will consume lot of memory and will slow down your system drastically.
By disabling the real time features from one of the software, one can use only on demand features such as initiating full system scan manually. However for general public, it is very tedious task with very low success rate.
Hence it's a bad and painful idea to use two antivirus software at the same time.
