Regular computer maintenance is required for keeping your pc alive & healthy. So here's the following reasons why maintaining of computers are important:

Early Detection of Issues
Computers can be temperamental, and we all know that small issues can become huge problems before we know it. But, having regular maintenance check done on your computer can eradicate small issues before they become big problems. Small issues can crop up at any time.

Backup
How important is your data? The more important your data is to you the more you back it up. Generally a once a month backup solution works for most people. However, all critical files should be backed up as regularly as you change them.

Updated software
To keep your business looking sharp and safe, you should always keep your computer software updated. This is especially important for computers used by employees who work with customers. Updated software also helps prevent issues with viruses and malware. To avoid interruptions for maintenance, it is wise to schedule updates for a time when employees are out of the office.

Clean Monitors
The monitor can be dusted off with a cloth and screens cleaned with a glass cleaner and cloth.

Nothing can be more frustrating than a computer that processes too slowly. You should always run an antivirus software if your PC suddenly starts to experience performance issues. If it starts to crash or slowdown while performing normal tasks that it has never before had trouble with, then you may have a virus or a malware functioniong. But of course, prevention is better than cure. You may scan your pc every time you seat in the front of your computer.

Opinion ko lang. Mas okay anti virus ng os mismo kase yung ibang 3rd party na anti virus may trick na akala mo lang may virus tapos irerequire ka nya pagamitin yung App nya kaya mas malaki consuming ng time tapos puro ads pa. Opinion ko lang

Hi Glocell! To answer your question, to understand how a disk becomes fragmented is to imagine me who’s in charge of filing documents within several cabinets. Whenever you, a worker or a student, need to file or take out a report, 'I go through you.' Defragmenting a disk is a well-known way of getting a computer to act faster. However, it’s not self-explanatory as to what it actually does. By using a defragmenter, the hard drive shuffles and sorts the data around the platter so that all the data on the computer is in a consecutive order. This means the head doesn’t have to move around so much to read your data, and the loading process speeds up.

First, let me state what is the difference between upgrade and update.

How often you should clean a PC is sensitive to environmental factors such as dust accumulation in the house itself, etc. A person living near a construction site would have to clean his rig more often than one living far away from it.

You may do external/internal "dustings" every month. Or every time you change a component, or can't bear the sight of dust in your pc. It is to remove excess build-up. But, it's up to you actually.

10.Replace the RAM sticks in their bays after you're sure they're dry. Make sure you line up the notches correctly. Apply firm and even downward pressure to each side of the module until it snaps into place.

11.Remove the wrist strap if applicable, replace the side panel, plug the power cable back in and power on the computer.

Try the Performance troubleshooter.
Delete programs you never use.
Limit how many programs run at startup.
Clean up your hard disk.
Run fewer programs at the same time.
Turn off visual effects.
Restart regularly.
Change the size of virtual memory.

A lot of people just dump their computer’s memory stick, just because it isn’t working while testing their computer with a new RAM.

If you are having a brand memory plugged into your computer, then there is only 2% to 3% chance that you’ll lose your memory stick and need to buy a new one.
RAM actually doesn’t get faulty easily;
It just only needs a proper cleaning, to make a proper physical connection between the motherboard to work properly.

Turn off the power. Remove the RAM. Use a soft brush to remove the dust from it. Use the same brush or compressed air to gently remove the dust, located in the RAM slots of the motherboard. Take a rubber and carefully rub the RAM connectors. Wipe the remaining practicals with a soft / microfiber clothe.
