Make sure the VGA is plugged properly on both sides. Check the functionality of your monitor and VGA. If both are functional, try checking your system unit.

Importance of driver on each component?

Drivers are like specialized softwares that make each hardware function and be controlled by the system. Without the drivers, the components will not function properly.

What Are The Causes Of Overheating Of Microprocessor?

Inefficient heat sink or cooling system in the PC may lead to overheating. Also, smaller RAM with too much processes running can lead to the CPU increasing its temperature.

What is POST (Power-On Self Test)?

POST is responsible for checking the computer component's functionality in the first place to identify some error. It will generate beep codes to help the user troubleshoot the system.

Tightening cables on motherboard can cause a short circuit? The wires are too thin.

In hardware troubleshooting, one must be informed and knowledgeable enough in order to identify the errors properly and make an appropriate solution. It must take careful actions performing this because instead of fixing the problem you could only worsen it and cause further damaged to your pc.

If dust is remained unclean, number one problem it can cause is blocking the fan vents, or if deep enough, it could also insulate the parts and cause overheating which is harmful for the small parts and circuits, and to the system.

some ways to maintain your monitor : Keep the air vents open. Never cover the air vents on the top or sides of a monitor. Doing so may result in a dangerous buildup of heat that can damage components or shorten their lives. Periodically, use a new paintbrush or the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner to remove accumulated dust on the monitor’s ventilation holes.

Leave your monitor on. The most dangerous moment in an electronic component’s life is when power is first applied, and the component goes from cold and uncharged to warm and full of electricity. Avoid turning your monitor on and off more than necessary.

Check the connections. Make sure that the cable between the monitor and the video card is firmly attached at each end and not crimped or pinched. If you need to make adjustments and your monitor has a removable cable, unplug it and then replug it into the receptacle on the monitor. This step could reset a loose connection and remove corrosion on any of the connectors.

What do i need to do to prevent my laptop from overheating?
1. Fix Internal Cooling
The first and most important thing you need to do when your laptop is overheating is to clean the fan(s) that provide(s) cooling to the CPU and graphics card. Over time, they build up layers of dust and dirt that slow them down and block airflow. Consult your laptop’s manual or manufacturer to find out how you can open the laptop to access and clean these parts.

Before you attempt to do any cleaning, however, follow these steps:

Shut down the computer
Remove the battery
Unplug the power strip
Ground yourself
Carefully clean the fan(s) with a cotton swab dipped in a drop of alcohol. Make sure the alcohol has completely evaporated before you reconnect the laptop to the power. You can also use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust and dirt that clocks up the fan(s). To prevent damage to the fan, do not let it revolve in the wrong direction. If you want to use canned air to clean the fan, arrest the fan by holding it down.
Next, you can clean the exhaust port by sucking out air with a vacuum cleaner. The exhaust port usually sits on the side of the laptop. It’s the opening that blows out hot air.

The intake grills are small openings that allow air to be sucked into the laptop by the revolving fans. They can sit on the sides or at the bottom of your notebook. To clear the intake grills, spray them with canned air.

Finally, you can apply fresh thermal grease to the interface between the CPU and its heat sink. Again, please consult the laptop’s manual or manufacturer to obtain instructions on how to disassemble these components.

although irrelevant, dust can still cause damage to circuits and small chips if left unattended like overheating and such.

No. DDR3 and DDR2 are designed differently. Both have different key placing so they won't even physically fit, not to mention differences in electrical voltage: There are motherboards which will provide entirely separate slots for DDR2, but you cannot use DDR3 in DDR2 slots, or both types together

Just destroy it, computers are better than laptop. Jk
Laptops are "portable" computers, but still has the components of a computer. Try disassembling the under lid of the laptop itself, then do the rest. But be sure to be careful though, laptops are riskier to troubleshoot

Unfortunately, cellphone repair services are not in the scope of our topics. There are phone parts that are not parts of a computer and the troubleshooting process is way harder. I recommend trying the phone company troubleshoot and fix your phone, or (if you want to spend less money on services), find a professional at troubleshooting and repairing phones
